His Adventures
and Life.

The Doug! D! Full of life and carrying infectious enthusiasm, he has built a life and legacy that’s solely and undeniably Doug. There’s an exuberance of living that’s allowed him to see the potential in everything. He sees a rainstorm as a great time for a hike. An undeveloped wilderness in North Georgia as a chance to build community. And an old farmhouse on the Wadmalaw River as a place to raise a family. At many fork in the road moments, he’s bet on himself, eschewed the corporate life, and never adhered to the norm. His boundless energy is an inspiration to his family and everyone around him.

From the Shores of Nantucket to the Alps of Switzerland, Susan and Doug have always sought to gain perspective through travel and exploration.

WE SHALL NOT CEASE FROM EXPLORATION, AND THE END OF ALL OUR EXPLORING
WILL BE TO ARRIVE WHERE WE STARTED AND KNOW THE PLACE FOR THE FIRST TIME.
